Tribewanted: Vorovoro

Well, I’m here in Nadi and there’s 24 hours until I get to the island. It’s been a long journey to get here and I’m really quite excited to finally get to the island and experience the True Fijian lifestyle.

Getting here has been a great odessy, traveling from Toronto, to Vancouver, from Vancouver to Sydney Autralia, staying there for 3 days then heading off to Nadi via Aucklands. Now that I’m finally here I have high hopes that I’ll be able to relax, fish and just get a great tan!

I was at the Nadi market yesterday and spoke to this nice Fijian woman making matts and bags from leaves. She said that she had Chinese blood in your lineage her great great grandfather was Chinese (Yeah! The Yelllow man is spreading his seed across the world!). I’ll be dropping by later to give her some chocolate I brought to give to the Kidz at Vorovoro. I hope she likes them. They’re from the factory I work at in Toronto.

I’ve meet a nice couple from Montreal, at the Resort I’m staying at in Nadi. They’re moving down to Australia. I am sooo envious. I want to move to Australia.

Anyway, my time is almost up. Will write more later.
