Chief Manifesto April 2010

Why would you like to be chief?
I visited soon after the hurricane Tomas and have been able to witness the damage that it caused. I feel like I already have friends and family here and would love to help lead the tribe in the repair and rebuilding of the village and the island.
What, other than your skills, makes you he right person for this role?
As am here on the island now, I can tell what the tribe needs to have a great time on the island and I will also be able to help new tribe members settle and give them any advice they might need. I am motivated and eager to work with the on island team to help to repair damage caused by the hurricane and rebuild Vorovoro and make it awesome again.
What would you like to achieve as chief?
I would like to help lead volunteers in the tribe to work alongside Team Fiji to restore the results of the hard work, creativity, and love that all the previous tribe members have put into the island over the past 3 years that has been damaged by the hurricane. I would also like to make sure all the tribe members keep having fun and enjoy their stay here.
Tell us something interesting about yourself.
Although I’m only nineteen and fresh out of school, I’m doing a round the world trip on my own and having an amazing time, discovering new places, experiences and a lot more about myself. I have boundless energy and enthusiasm and I even got Jone ‘boat captain’ Robinson playing finger twister!
In one sentence, why should the tribe elect you as chief?
I am full of energy and optimism, willing to try anything, and I always give the best of myself to what I take on.

I only got to meet Chloe for a short time but the way she embraced the ethos of the island life and respect for the Fijian community I think she will be a good chief and help to take things forward.
Good luck Chloe

I stayed with Chloe in the Funhouse for 16 days. What a great roommate and an awesome chief!
Good luck continuing to rebuild. Will miss you Chloe!
