Comments
I’ve been reading about how to get to Vorovoro from Nadi; by plane you’re plane sailing excuse the pun but what if you fancy bus-ing it to Suva and catching a ferry to Savusavu and then bus-ing it from Savusavu to Labasa. Why is there no information on that?
Bula! I’ve been in contact with Air Pacific through e-mail, but they don’t seem to have a special tribewanted agreement anymore? can i just book online? The fare online is more than the 323$ noted above… What to do? Thanks for the help! Nienke
Current link for Nomad Skylodge is http://www.nomadsskylodge.com/
They have no exterior photos of lodgings – what is this place like? Any other recommendations? Thanks.
Skylodge is in a part of Nadi called Namaka, which is not the centre of town but a suburb about half way out to the airport. It’s down a long drive and has a sort of campus feel. It is a friendly backpackery place.
Other Nadi possibles: Stony Creek which is up in the mountains. Aquarius which is on Wailoaloa beach (but Nadi is not know for it’s beaches)or Bamboo in the same area that is cheap and cheerful and brand new. There are many more too – email me (maddy@tribewanted.com) if you want to discuss – I’ve stayed everywhere!
