How to solve security code problems when joining

Aaron Wheeler By Eroni, Alabama, USA Posted 22 Jan 2008

The security code, or ‘captcha’ image on the Join page is a common security practice used by many websites. Unfortunately, it sometimes does more to infuriate web visitors than to help them!

Here are some tips that you can follow in case you are having difficulty:

1) Clear your browser’s cache

This is just a fancy way of saying “cleanly reload the page.” You can do this in most browsers by holding down the SHIFT key while clicking the RELOAD button.

2) Try a different browser

Have you tried several times in your favorite browser and can’t get through? Though inconvenient, you can try to sign up using a different web browser , or by using another computer.

3) Still no luck? Let us know and we’ll help you

If the security code refuses to budge, contact us at webmaster@tribewanted.com and let us know. We’ll be able to help you!
