How do I blog about cool videos?
Words don’t do Tribewanted justice. Images of island adventure and once-in-a-lifetime experiences are hard to conjure when explaining the lack of air conditioning to your curious friends and family back home. So show instead of spell out your Vorovoro experience!
Using YouTube videos
If you’ve got videos to share on Tribewanted, it’s easy to use YouTube to host the videos and Tribewanted.com to blog about them. Just follow these steps:
- Upload your videos to your YouTube following these directions.
- Copy the URL to the movie. It will look like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oggkcqV5Hdw
- Paste the URL into the body of your blog on a separate line by itself. For example:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oggkcqV5Hdw
Tribewanted.com will automatically embed the video in your blog post! Just like this:
Facebook and other videos
Tribewanted.com doesn’t currently support embedding other video sites. And unfortunately, many videos on Facebook are not visible to the public.
This shouldn’t stop you from linking to the videos from your blog posts, however. So whenever you find something cool on the internet that you want to share, link to it from your Tribewanted.com blog!
