Permaculture Manager Wanted: Sierra Leone
Role starts mid September 2010, minimum 4 months.
Role
To overseas the initial management of the food, water and waste systems at John Obey Beach
Responsibilities
Waste: set-up of compost and recycling systems
Water: oversea management of water conservation, hygene and distribution on the site
Food: identify and begin small gardens and livestock farming with community and co-ordinate with beach kitchen
Education: Run sustainability workshops and forums with visiting tribe members and community
Reporting: Document the impact of the project on the environment: waste, food miles etcÂ…

You would need a good knowledge of permaculture theory and practical experience.
