Team Fiji

Sailasa Aisake Leavi(Leavi)
Tevita Ratunigaloa(Tevita)
Osipani Marau Tuiraviravi (Marau)
Apenisa Laisave Rasega(Capt)

Tribewanted: Vorovoro’s team will be representing Tourism Fiji and their role is to build the ‘Legends of Fiji’ village for the Hampton Court Show (see plans above). Despite Kaz and co’s great efforts we couldn’t quite get the team to go via LA as flights proved too expensive. Originally there was a plan for 8 to visit including the ladies but budgets have had to be cut.

There are five scheduled events where any tribe members, friends and family will be welcome to spend time with the boys. There may be some more events planned nearer to the time, we’ll keep you posted.

Outside these events the guys will either be working before/during the show or chilling out as it will be quite an intense experience for them

You will be able to follow Te and the teams UK adventure on Tribewanted, twitter, facebook and their blog!

Vinaka Ben for bringing this all together. I can be available on the 5th or 6th (6th is better) to help out with PR or where needed, the 6th is the best for me. I will be in London until the evening of the 7th, flying back to Greece late on the 7th. I would be very pleased to help represent the Tribe in anyway, and of course look forward to seeing “our” beloved team.
If lodging becomes a problem, try the YHA or www.couchsurfing.com

Also if anyone has a bit of free time Tribewanted Dream Foundation would love a few extra pairs of hands to come along to the Hampton Court Flower Show enjoy the day and to encourage other people to donate and volunteer.

We’d love help to raise funds from visitors to the flower show to build composting toilets and water tanks for the villages back in Fiji.

Remember: For entry details for the flower show go to.

I would love to get involoved at the flower show. Friday the 10th is the best day for me, but I’m quite flexible. Can’t wait to welcome them all to London. Lets hope they bring some summer sun with them!!

myself and pam are free to help from 9th to the 12th july…just let us know when, where and how!!!

John Wright By JayDub, Middlesex, UK Posted Jun 6, 2009 12:15pm

I should be able to attend / assist with “Tribe in the park” and the BBQ.

Re Eden I would like to attend (and possibly help out) but not at all sure at present if work commitments will permit this.

So far as Hampton court is concerned I can defo make Sun 12 and would be willing to help out as required.
Sat 11 I cannot make due to other commitments.
During the week I may be available to help out but work commitments might prevail over this.

Right thanks to the super team we now have a venue – So hold your hats – in view of the change of arrival dates of team Fiji and the difficulty to find a public space to have a barbeque we thought we’d go for the tried and tested Hyde Park for the 28th – so the idea is that this will be a nice picnic rather than a barbeque and so long as we are good we shouldn’t get into trouble with the big cheeses at Hyde Park – thanks to Hugh’s expertise I attached:

Beside easy-to-find Speke’s Monument, a little to the south and west of Lancaster Gate tube.

Come and join us bring you frends and remember tickets are £15 (£10 goes back to the families back in Mali and the rest is for food).
