Tribewanted: Vorovoro

Well, it’s been two months since we left the amazing island of Vorovoro, and I thought it was about time I wrote a blog. In fact, part of the reason I have waited so long, is because this is how long it took for me to collect my thoughts into any kind of coherent pattern. As any one of you who’s been there, knows very well, VV makes an impression like no other place… so I thought I’d share.

After 6 months of travel, friends and family members have asked time and again ‘what was your favourite place?’ and each time we chime ‘Fiji’ in unison, and then one or both of us tries to explain the phenomenon that is Tribewanted (usually fairly clumsily). The thing is , it’s now just a collection of beautiful memories weaving before my eyes like a dream! I know I went there because I have the photographic evidence and lots of new friends on Facebook, but I can’t believe we were actually there!
