Bula Sia to all the readers out there, first I would like to apologise for the late blog. Well we have now reached the 4th week of my chiefdom and it has been full of emotion.

This week team fiji have been very busy. After a request from Tui Mali the boys have been clearing the land behind Eromoni and Tevitas’s Bure all the way back to Tanoa Park. The week has been full of laughter with the tribe helping the team with the massive job. Many funny stories were shared from both team fiji and tribe members, making the hard work much more enjoyable. The reason for the land to be cleared was decided upon when, Tui Mali was informed that if the land was more open for the wind to flow through there would be less mosquitoes and the fruits growing would grow more productively due to more space and sunlight.

Also this week we said goodbye to some amazing fijians. We had a very long grog session to celebrate and thank the team fiji that stepped in for the boys who went to the uk. This was a wonderful night full of hospital buses (Massive bilo of grog) and songs. Everyone was on an emotional high and made sure the boys had a good farewell.

However we shall be welcoming the boys back from the uk this week and I am very excited to working with them again. Also, I would like to welcome aboard the new wavu Jenny who will be helping and supporting the team in the next few months. She is doing a great job so far and the tribe are having lots of tea!

Until next time,
Moce.
