“After a turbulent few months the internet ‘Tribe’ settle in to their 3rd month on Vorovoro, a small Island in the South Pacific. Whilst founder Ben Keene tries to form stronger ties with the Fijian community, his brother Dan is leading the drive towards self sufficiency.”
“But all their eco dreams are put to one side as Fiji is rocked by a full-blown coup d’etat. International governments warn against travel to Fiji and tourism all but dries up. Ben is left with an uncertain future.”

How is the situation Now, Ben? I missed episode 3 though I caught the headlines/summary. How recent were these events? (Coup d’etat). How have community members on the island been affected?
Coup was December 06 – so a while ago. Its funny, I keep getting these emails from people who think it happened last week!
All good now. No change to life on Vorovoro – or travel through Fiji. I worked in Suva for 2 months and no problem there either. Just the economy struggling. Which is why we need to get more people to Fiji!
hey,loving the programme it looks great out there. Was it filmed that long ago.whats happening out there now then, have you built anything else?has your brother been back?do you have the internet connection on the island? where are the videos ect i cant find them,lol!

So much for the Scam, how so many people got it wrong, there’s just no trust in this world and your adventure just goes to show how all those that doubted you were wrong.
