In one sentence, describe your experience on Vorovoro
From the moment I first set eyes on the island from the plane and the boat to when my feet finally touched the sand I felt as if I had finally come home for the first time in my life
What was the highlight/favourite moment of your stay?
My highlight would have to be when we first dressed up ready for the Sept 1st celebrations and all the girls were sat lined up for Tui Mali to walk passed and then the children started to sing – all the colours of the sulus and flowers in the brilliant sunshine and the heavenly voices of the children – realising that I was finally there for real – the moment just moved me too tears

Aw shucks, that brings a tear to my eye. And the amazing thing about the school kids is I just asked them to give us a song while we waited. They just don’t do a casual little song – they are always a full on choir – awesome.
