Fabulous. Hope to talk to you about The Dreaming Festival sometime Ben. The meke would go down a treat.

awesome awesome!
love the way it cuts between ‘white’ & ‘fijian’ mekes.
Save’s bit at the end is great. One of the best days i think Vorovoro will see! and bloomin ant and dec (jonny and api)playing up at the end of the line!

good edit..pics and music work really well.

Actually turned out a lot better than I’d expected. I guess all that time I spent behind the video camera over Christmas wasn’t for nothing ;)

That was wonderful!! I think we should produce and edit our own second series and sell it to the BBC!

Brilliant!!! These are the things that make TW special… no matter what anyone writes, produces, or says!

A question though… why was the loud Canadian running around behind the meke line and why was, I presume it was Walt, shooting people with a water pistol during the meke. Is that ok? Just curious…

Adam Carter By Atama, NSW, Australia Posted Feb 14, 2008 6:39pm

Don’t know about Chris, but the guy with the water pistol was definitely Duncan (sustainability manager). It’s part of Fijian tradition to do anything you can to put the people off their meke, and make them screw up basically. So we normally get all sorts of things happening to us like powder on the face, chewing gum shoved in your mouth, cigarettes behind your eyes. In short, yes I’m almost certain that what Duncan did was fine
