September Chief to be elected



The time has come to find the first of a band of leaders that will support the tribewanted team and local community on the island over the course of the year and make the project a success! So have you got what it takes to become a tribal Chief…



September 2006 Chief Elections

Taking place between the 7th and 12th of July 2006.



Applicants must submit answers to the questions below along with a 60 second video (‘chiefcast’) about why they should be elected Chief.



Please email both your answers to the questions and your ‘chiefcast’ to island@tribewanted.com Applications close midnight on Sunday 9th July. Voting will take place on Monday and Tuesday and the chief will be elected on Wednesday 12th July.



Applicants must answer the following questions:



• Why would you like to be Chief?

• What relevant skills would you bring to this role?

• What, other than your skills, makes YOU the right person for this role?

• What would you like to achieve as Chief?

• As Chief you will be given a small pot of money with which to leave your legacy. How will you spend it?

• Tell us something interesting about yourself.

• In one sentence, why should the tribe elect you Chief?



October and November nominations will take place immediately after the election of the September Chief.
