Etsy is an amazing example of an online marketplace that allows small businesses to pool resources and get their products out into the world…you can find all kinds of things, from flat pack furniture to wacky paper goods. I have supported womens cooperatives in Chile with their weaving and am in love with some new tote bags made from recycled construction site webbing. Etsy is a hotbed of innovation and inspiration.

So, I am honored to have a 1000 word essay about the Baby Zaishu project featured prominently on their blog, the Storque:

This is a global community with savvy online tools (check out the amazing ways that you can search products), and I’m thrilled to share our story with the Etsy readership…

We’re still trying to get the word out there, so if you know anyone that might like to support Mali District School with their very own Baby Zaishu, please spread the word!
