Kauti viti lesu vei viti....Tribewanted long-listed for Responsible Tourism Award
Tags:
Thanks to tribe members and other nominations we have been long-listed from over 500 organisations for one of the Virgin Holidays Responsible Tourism Awards.
To get to the final – top three for our category – ‘The Conservation of Cultural Heritage’, we have a comprehensive questionaire to fill out to show what positive impact Tribewanted is making.
On Vorovoro a tribe member formed think-tank is collecting and quantifying thoughts from team Fiji and the families we work and live with, as well bringing up to date all our sustainability statistics.
But it is also important that we get your feedback online so we can measure the impact you believe we have had so far.
So if you have five minutes please complete this simple survey . We will share the results of the on-island and on-line surveys once we’ve submitted them for the award in August.
Discuss the questions here in the forums
1. What do you think is the single most significant achievement that Tribewanted has made in the last two years regarding local people, environment, and/or conservation?
2.What do you think the most significant initiative Tribewanted taken so far to reduce the negative cultural and social impacts of tourism?
