Hi Tom What’s the latest happening with you out on vv? do you think you will be able to implement all the things you were hoping to? i thought your manifesto was brilliant!!
Hi Avril, im very sorry, i was never told about this thread, ive just stumbled upon it by chance. In answer to your question, I certainly didn’t get to implement all the things i hoped to. I did manage to achieve many, and also many things that i wasn’t aware needed to happen until i became chief. So my time became more focsed on what was more immediately needed, rather than the smaller objects i had in place. What we did achieve was the building of the Vale floor, plenty of planting, completion of the new Team Fiji Bure, clean up of Tanoa Park, streamlining the sustainable aspect with help largely from ben and a general sort out of the kitchen. The rugby project unfortunately never materialized, but i am still making in roads into a kit donation from my contacts. Other things that were achieved included restoring and restocking the chicken coup, fixing the oven, cleaning the rope to the pontoon, Having a huge meal with all of team fiji, creating a unified look using bamboo and improving the aesthetics and function of the tarpauline blinds, The treehouse also got a second floor and a new roof! Sorry this is all past information but i hope it at least answers your questions. Tom
