TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Tribewanted: Vorovoro
All payments for membership are made with ‘Tribewanted Ltd’. Hereafter referred to as ‘Tribewanted’, ‘Us’, or ‘We’. You are referred to as ‘the tribe’, ‘tribe member’, ‘individuals’ or ‘you’.
By paying to become a member you are indicating your agreement to the following terms and conditions:
Acceptance and Commencement of Membership
When you have paid the membership fee and Tribewanted has received his/her fee, he/she will become a member of the tribe and shall be entitled to the privileges of his/her membership of the tribe. Acceptance of an application for membership is at the absolute discretion of Tribewanted. The date for tribal membership commences on the day it is purchased.
Membership Charges
Tribewanted reserves the right to increase the membership fee, at their discretion at anytime. Tribe membership cannot be sold onto another party via any means.
Data Protection
Tribewanted will comply with the Data Protection Act 1998. Tribewanted warrants that, to the extent it processes any personal Data on each members behalf:
It shall act only on a member’s instruction; and it has in place the appropriate technical and organisational security measures against unlawful processing of Personal Data and against accident, loss or destruction of, or damage to, Personal Data.
Personal Data may be transferred to third parties in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. Every tribe member is entitled to see the information held about them and may ask Tribewanted to make any necessary changes to ensure that it is accurate and kept up to date. If a member wishes to do this, please contact Tribewanted.
Tribal Pack
Tribewanted reserve the right to change the contents of the tribal pack. No full or partial refund will be given to tribal members unsatisfied with the contents of the tribal pack. Tribe packs will be distributed on Vorovoro.
Island Time Reservations
Tribe members will be able to reserve their stay on Vorovoro once they join the tribe, through their profile page on the online community.
Please note if you change the date of your island booking less than 1 month before arrival you will be charged a £25 booking fee.
Cancellation
In the unlikely event that Tribewanted will cancel the Vorovoro project all members who have yet to visit Vorovoro will receive a refund of 100% of their membership fee. A decision to cancel Vorovoro is at the sole discretion of Tribewanted.
Tribe members cannot cancel their membership once they have joined and there will be no refunds in any circumstances. If a tribe member decides not to take part in the online community or visit Vorovoro their membership is non-refundable.
Visiting the Island
All Tribal members agree to ensure that they have their own travel insurance before visiting Vorovoro.
When visiting Vorovoro, the Tribewanted team and appointed Chiefs have the right to escort anyone off the Island who they feel to be disturbing the peace of the community, the environment or causing a general disturbance.
If families bring children onto the Island they will be required to be under parental supervision at all times.
No illegal drugs or substances will be allowed on to the Island. In accordance with Fijian law, if any member is found in possession of illegal substances this will result in instant dismissal from Vorovoro and the tribe.
All tribe members visiting Vorovoro will be subject to the law of the sovereign government of Fiji.
Tribewanted is not liable for any failure to comply with obligations to tribe members caused by weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, or any other circumstances beyond the control of said company.
General
In the event of any fault, mistake, misunderstanding or dispute concerning the rules of operation of any part of Tribewanted: Vorovoro, the decision of Tribewanted shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Tribewanted reserves the right to vary and revoke these Terms & Conditions from time to time and in addition make or vary any bye-laws which it may consider necessary or desirable for the regulation of the internal affairs of Vorovoro and the conduct of members. Any such changes will be notified to members and, until revoked, are binding on members.
With regard to any complaint or claim the tribe member agrees:
- To ensure that at the earliest possible opportunity any perceived failure in the performance or improper performance of Tribewanted is communicated Tribewanted in writing (email) so that the concerns can be addressed.
- With regard to any perceived unresolved serious complaint to provide written details to Tribewanted.
- In the event of a claim for a refund the tribe member agrees that any such claim must be detailed in writing and be received by Tribewanted within 14 days after your time on the Island.
