A week on the beach
Well I’ve been and come back.
On my first day back at work a colleague asked what I’d missed the most while I was away, and I couldn’t think of anything!!
After a couple of days I remembered that I had missed the sound of the flush when I used the loo. I was quite happy with the compost loos, I’m just conditioned into not leaving the bathroom without flushing.

I’m getting really excited now – 4 weeks on Friday, and I have passport, visa and yellow fever certificate!

I can hardly believe I’ve just gone and done it!
Now the real preparation starts.
How many vaccinations do I need??? The list is as long as my arm. (Which is not looking forward to being introduced to the needles, I can tell you).
