Vorovoro tides
After a visit to the Gulf of Mexico recently, I was reminded of one of the things I noticed as a 1st footer on Vorovoro – the tide. Suzi and James pitched tents a wee bit closer to the water but none of us tenters were much more than 5 feet above the high tide line headed into the dry season. Vorovoro doesn’t have much wave activity – it’s more a gentle shushing, but the sea does rise (over months, according to tide tables) over 5’ between twice-daily lows & highs.
