Small changes one note at a time...

Just a small post to share another brilliant example of re-thinking a common, every day product which can be optimized to lessen impact – the notepad. Only this time, it’s been fashioned from ceramic clay instead of relying on cutting down trees for paper:

Of course, there are more and more options for recycled paper – which is the preferable way to go if you must buy paper products. But what I love about this approach is the playful re-examination of how we can achieve the same purpose with something else.

Using grease pencils, you can re-use this “notepad” over and over again…

Our challenge is to keep questioning how we can make small changes in our lives, without giving up very much.

every time you change one little habit that is wasteful, it is a step in the right direction, it is all about re-educating ourselves to simply…not waste!
My “scratchpads” are usually the backs of old envelopes, or any other paper that has a clean side left. But the ceramic pad has a really nice look to it and would enhance any kitchen or office.
