IDEO launches a Human-Centered Design toolkit

As we approach the end of the initial 3-year TribeWanted experiment, it’s a perfect time to reflect as we celebrate. There is so much we have accomplished, and yet so much potential remains. We’ve touched so many lives, and yet people continue to discover the project every day. And while we have started to make a difference, there is much more to be done…even if planting the seeds now doesn’t bear fruit until the kids at Mali District have to make choices for their own kids years from now.

IDEO, one of my favorite product and thought design companies, just put our a tool kit for NGOs and social groups endeavoring to make change. Human-centered design is the term used for any kind of planning which keeps people at the forefront, above economic and political drivers.
