Holiday shopping with a mission - support a child in Mali by giving a Baby Zaishu

We were lucky enough to be able to make the first donation from the proceeds of limited edition Baby Zaishus earlier this year:

But the economy has meant that we still have quite a few left, which is GOOD NEWS if you still have holiday gifts to purchase. As a reminder, these fantastic hand-painted, silk screened flat pack Baby Zaishu stools are for sale from a shop in Los Angeles that ships internationally, the proceeds all go to sustainability and arts education at the Mali District School.

For those who don’t recall, this was the chief project in April 2008, to draw attention to traditional Fijian art forms as well as sustainable design practices.

So, if you know someone who might appreciate a piece of limited edition functional art or have a special child in your life, consider purchasing one of these as a gift that keeps giving. Once half of them have sold, we’ll make the donation to the school.
