A blend of Hartington Hall meets MEIN Twot!
Time and Place Start Time: Friday, January 11, 2008 at 6:00pm
End Time: Sunday, January 13, 2008 at 6:00pm
Location: Draycott – Somerset
City/Town: Cheddar, United Kingdom
Hosted by our lovely Laura at her place in Draycott, Somerset (2 miles from Cheddar). It will be held from the Friday 11th January to Sunday13th Jan.
It will include a visit to the beautiful caves, a walk up the Cheddar Gorge, and possibly a visit to Wells (8 miles away).
Those wishing to attend have the option to stay either at Laura’s home where there is lots of floor space (she can sleep upto 30-ish people – bring a sleeping bag)
Or
Second option: There is a nice pub a few doors down the road, which has a self catering cottage, if people want a bit more luxury/privacy, and also lots of B&Bs available.
The weekend will also include some Fund Raising events such as an Auction (everyone brings one item they wish to auction off – for example Laura may auction an original 1st edition TW T-shirt) – full details TBC
All proceeds will be split 50/50 between TW Dream Foundation and Peter’s family (VoroVoro) in memory of Peter and all he had done for Tribewanted.
Oh – and by no means least, there will also be lots of fun, laughter and evenings involving the odd drink or too ;-)

LIFTS
JW is working around Bristol on the Friday and has said if anyone would like a lift from there on the friday around 16:30 (pick up say Bus or Train station) then he can take upto 4 passengers,

My neck of the woods
Lolli’s blog about the Somersot TWOT sent me to Google Earth to look around the area and I saw several landmarks, including the caves and grotto. It looked very interesting and prompts me to post directions to my house in rural Sandy Ridge, AL, USA.
Perhaps we could share our own pieces of the world that way – whenever a tribbie posts a location, I go try to find it. I haven’t located the Grecian Isle for next summer’s TWOT but either the latitude/longitude or a Google Earth link would take us to the door step.
You can’t see my house for the trees but will see my pond just N & E of
32:02’01”N x 86:27’01”W. I can’t quite make out Vorovoro, but Mali is about 16:20’44.29”S x 179:21’29.04”E. Show me yours!
