It worked!
After leaving Vorovoro 2 and 1/2 weeks ago(ish), I have put in a leave pass to return in July. It was only after volunteering for summer duties, and a week and a half of annoying my bosses, that they signed the pass (which is why I write this at 0300hrs in the morning on a saturday – I think they only told me now ‘cos it was a leaving ‘do’ and they were drunk!). But tomorrow (today, but after at least one sleep) I can finally book this trip. Not only have they confirmed this, but I’m pretty much guarenteed time off for ‘Rock am Ring’ the concert at Nurnberg ring in June.I cannot believe how lucky I am!) I genuinely feel, that,apart from all the stuff you have to accept ( like having jobs that you are voluntold to do- pretty much every job- and the stuff that makes you want you to curl up in a small ball and hide), I have the best job in the world!
AND someone just made me a cheese toastie. Life is good!
