Hi everyone!
Hi there everyone!
Here’s a bit about me!...
I’m a 47 (just!) year old Piano Teacher, from Bath, UK.
No kids, 2 ponies, love the outdoors, sailing, sun, sea, sand etc!
Practical person who can turn my hand to most things.. or at least will try!
I was very lucky to spend an amazing three months aboard a very basic, small yacht sailing down the Caribbean chain in 2005 (left a well paid job in an accountants to go!), and I really enjoyed the back to basics/ecologically friendly lifestyle.. washing in the sea, meeting the locals and people from all over the world etc. Really didn’t want to come home, and have been pining for the life ever since.
Tribewanted seems to stand for everything I believe in at the moment. What a brilliant idea it is!
Unfortunately I’m broke, so I have no idea if I’ll ever be able to afford the flights to/from the UK which is really frustrating, :-( but I just HAD to join anyway!!
Cheers for now!
Chris

You star, Chris! There’s quite a few sailing fans in the tribe – I’m sure you’ll come across them
Hi everyone, my husband and I joined the Tribe a couple of weeks ago and intend to upgrade and book our trip next month (after pay day:
)) I just knew we would have to visit as soon as I heard about it. What a great idea! New years resolution, make more out of life and I think the Tribe is a good place to start :) KVHi you two!
Lovely to hear from people so quickly!
Glad (and not surprised!) to hear that there are other sailing fans in the Tribe!
Hope to come across some soon!
Cheers for now!
Chris
Hi Chris – try messaging Fiona Boote aka Trixie. She’s done the sailing thing.
Our current Chieft Christy is a Captain, too… she is organizing a sailing trip for later this year around Greece.
Welcome to the Tribe… and never fear… there are a lot of people here who want to go but might not get to… stay involved anyway!
Bula sia Chris,You made the right decision to join thats just the beginning,we are glad you did you sound just the right sort of person the tribe requires. Can you make it to the Sway Bar on the 18th Feb for Paradise or Bust party, its not the island but you would at least meet everyone there.
Tribal love Pixie x
Bula sia Chris!
Welcome to the fun… even if you can’t make it to the island hopefully you’ll be able to gain something from the discussions on here and help us change the world!
Hi you last four!
This is great! Everyone’s so friendly and welcoming! Thanks!!
You can be sure that I’m going to be doing everything I can to raise the money to get out there!.. and trying to work out what to do with my two horses if & when I do go!
I’m gonna have a big clearout and sell lots of stuff hopefully.. thank goodness for eBay!! :
) and rack my brains as to how else I can raise some money!) Oh no!!Ooooh I like the sound of a sailing trip round Greece too! :
Unfortunately I can’t make London on the 18th, because I’m a piano Teacher, and all my pupils are in a competition on that day/evening in Bristol. Unfortunately a lot of them will be having their last lessons on the evening of Mon 11th, so I won’t be able to go to the Stratford on Avon meet either :
/)Ah well! As you say.. I’ll just have to find my way round the website.. there’s SO much to take in!!.. and join in this way…. for now!! :
Cheers everyone!
Chris
