I'm a hard working Chef from Southampton, and although I love my work, I don't let it rule my life. I can't get enough of jetting away, I just love travelling, and have been very lucky and been/seen many places, I have a desire to see so many more.

Why I Joined

Simply because Martin and I have talked a lot about an opportunity to travel to a paradise Island, as close as you could get to self sufficiency. It's something that we both dream about, and thought we'd never achieve.

Hobbies

Travelling is high up there, but so is the humbler things in life, like spending time with my friends andmore importantly my boyfriend Martin. I lke to read not only cook books, but autobiographys, and thrillers, even the odd childrens fantasy.

Books I Love

Harold Mcgee on Food and Cooking "Zzzz I hear you all" I do pick up the occasional holiday guide, always thinking of zooming off somewhere!

Music I Love

Good lord so many......Nearly everything.......But recently got back into electro house, hard house, ambient, and break beat, Martin used to DJ a lot so listens to it and I'm loving the "REVIVE".

Films I Love

I just love The Goonies, Blazing Saddles, Smokey & the Bandit, Cannonball Run I & II, Stir Crazy, See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Weird Science, baciscally late eighties early nighties films. My Brother and I used to watch them all the time.

Why Me?

When we heard about the amazing work you're doing on Vorovoro, we just HAD to get involved. Since we've started our relationship we've spoken of dreams we'd shared of spending some time on a remote paradise island like you see in castaway.

Tribal Skills

Well the obvious one I suppose I should mention is that I can cook, but apart from that I have strong organisational abilities, work well with my hands in many disciplines, can lift heavy loads, and work very well as part of a team.
