Simply Overwhelmed With Excitment
Bula all!
I am just simply overwhelmed with excitment that I have finally managed to book our time on the island. It’s a dream come true. I really would like the make the most of the 2 weeks I have, although I’m confident I will be wanting to book my return as soon as it’s over, and for a longer period of time before the project is over.
I would be extremely grateful to anyone who has taken part in this experience to share some insider knowledge? Anything from where’s best to sleep, to what’s best to bring for the tribe, the school, the locals? I really want to make the most of the whole experience, and if I can make ANY kind of difference to the lives of the entire tribe on the island, be it functional gifts or otherwise, I’d love the opportunity.
Thank you to all the tribe memebrs in the past that have made it possible for me and my boyfriend to experience a dream we share, and to Tui Mali for allowing the project to happen.
See you soon In Vorovoro.

P.S. I arrive in Fiji a week before my booked time on Vorovoro and wanted to see another side of Fiji to the experience I’m due on the island, does anyone have any suggestions as to where I should go, or how to spend my time to get the best experience? I was thinking the Yasawa Islands? (Because I love snorkelling).
Vinaka again all…...

when will you be going to VoroVoro Wilson?
I stopped in Uciwai, a village area south of Nadi, and at the surf and dive resort, nice to relax for a few days, it has the same type set up as Vorovoro and is a good intro to Fiji. Friendly local staff give u tips with the language and grog ceremonies before the real stuff in Vorovoro. If you want to know details just message me. Cheers – enjoy ur trip!
