Hi Im Steve from Birmingham 53 and itching to break with nearly 30 yrs of office life .Just seeing out my time .Would like to get to V now but not sure about the rainy season .Probably next Jan/Feb.Anyone else out there thinking the same ?

Hi Steve, I went out there last Christmas and New Years and it was fantastic. A lot of cultural events going on at that time, much less work, that is something to be prepared for ahead of time. A few days after the new year work starts again. It is the rainy season so one ends up wet and actually cool a lot of the time, but if you get up early enough you can typically catch some sun for early hikes and swims. You will love the island, it is a fantastic adventure. Vinaka for joining the tribe!
