Bula sie everyone! Let me start off by introducing myself, I am Tyler or Tex for those of you who know me. My only regret this whole trip has been that I don’t have more time here. Like some of you I am sure, I didn’t book as much time as I could have because I wasn’t sure how much I would enjoy it here.
That was a big mistake! I have enjoyed every second of my time here just as soon as I stepped off the boat (guided by our awesome Api and Jone) Everyone on the island the tribe members and Team Fiji staff make you feel right at home. I feel so much at home here I am coming back next year and booking as much time as I possibly can.
I leave tomorrow with a sunburn (my fault) sore feet but a happy heart. Everything about this experience has been eye opening from the food to the people to the reef trip and school trip. The Fijians are the friendliest people I have ever met hands down. I would encourage everyone to come here and meet the staff and tribe members.
When I got here I didn’t know anyone but now everyone is family. I will dearly miss everyone here and I can’t wait to see them all again. My only regret is I can’t stay for a whole year. So just remember to bring an open heart and mind and some good shoes and ignore your impulse to cut your time short here!
