Tribewanted: Vorovoro

As I think many of you know by now, my partner and I have a precious new arrival on the way!!

Our first child is due in October, all is going smoothly, baby and mummy-to-be, our healthy and well. We are extremely happy and preparing for this exciting new stage in our lives.

Little could I have known at the beginning, how much my life was about to change and all that this project was going to give and teach me and I feel totally blessed but to also meet my Kiwi partner in Fiji and to be expecting our first child together, is the cherry on top of the cake! I am so excited about introducing our new baby to the tribe and the Fijian Family have already told me that once I bring the baby home to them, they wont be letting it leave again ;-)

In terms of my work with Tribewanted, I am absolutely here till the end, we are planning to go to New Zealand to have the baby, so I will be taking a slight back seat for the months of October and November. Ben and I have discussed this and feel confident that the team will be able to absorb the majority of my work for this short period and I will absolutely still be on hand to help them with this. Then if all goes well we will be back in Fiji for December (at our island home near Nadi) and I’ll be getting back to work, ready to see the project through 2009!
