I'm here (well, sort of)

Bula all,

I know you are avidly watching out for a blog from me, so thought I would get one in early before I am having too much fun to sit in a dark room and blog!

Flights went ok, Korean Air are amazing, personal video screens, blankets, and “comfort kits”. Obviously to my less than travelled self this seemed fantastic-but the personal video screen showing all the latest films, and some classics such as Ghost just topped off the whole experience! Easy to please!

I am in Labasa now, the nearest town to Vorovoro. The plane we got here was tiny, a bit like those Flintstone ones where you have to pedal it yourself, there were only 8 of us in it!

It is BOILING here (74 F), I can feel myself sizzling already, and I saw the damage the mozzies had done to some outgoing tribe members, so I am getting ready to really repel- people won’t come near me afetr I am finished with myself!

Anyhoo, I am off to get some lunch, then we will head to the island this afternoon. Will try to update you all soon.
