TW Live in Cornwall
The weekend neared and I got more and more excited and revved up. By the time Friday evening came – I was only going to join everyone at Penhale for the day on Saturday – I was knackered and I hadn’t even got there!!
So of course I woke at 6am and decided to get up and go when I had had breakfast etc. The drive down was fine and I made the camp in just over one and a half hours. They had been deluged a little earlier but by the time I arrived it had stopped and we had no more rain to speak of!! The view from the camp is fabulouse, looking down towards the sea and seeing the cliffs of the coast to the west.
Somewhat nervous because I had not met any one from TW yet and everyone had been there since the evening before, I wandered down to the small marquee which was TW centre saying hello to anyone I passed on the way – everyone was very friendly!! And I saw the few faces / names I knew from taking online. Senga, Christine, Ben.
We soon left for the Strawbridges’ home and the talks on sustainability and eco living and I was very relieved that we ended up piling into cars!!
The time at the farm was great fun! And the lunch awsomely healthy and delicious.
