Tribal Notice Board

22 – Tribal Noticeboard
Brought about by the need for a centralised information centre, the noticeboard was built in July ‘07 and now ensures that tribe members are aware of activities as they happen on a day by day basis.

The Tribal Notice Board stands at the center of activity on Vorovoro just outside the kitchen.

Built on top of an old and dead tree stump, the board has blackboards on four sides and is covered with a thatched roof to keep off the rain.

The board was completed under the watch of Tui Aussie and is used daily as a way to track weekly and monthly goals, coordinate daily activities, and to serve as a way to communicate what is happening on the island.
