So, looks like the dry season is mostly behind us. As we take steps to prepare for the rainy season, we should also consider how our actions now will effect the island when the rains stop again. It would be great if the prospect of a water shortage never came up and it’s something that with the right planning we can achieve. Right now we have just barely enough water storage to meet our drinking and cooking needs but nowhere near enough for bathing and the gardens.
