The Iconic Chainsaw Man.
Pupu Epeli is an unlikely hero this week according to the articles by British tabloids today-and quite rightly so for those of us who know him. For tribe members who have been and crossed paths with Pupu, he is a living legend. Even, for kids during my time as far back I could remember, we all knew that this man is always dependable, the go to man. He never stops, (although may be a wee bit slower these days), but he always deliver.
It is hard to tell when Pupu will stop, for a man his age- he should be reading Fiji Times in the shade, have endless cups of tea, and wait for the kava call in the afternoon. But this is not likely to be the doing of a man with a great heart and uncompromising loyalty to his family and friends.
LONG LIVE THE CHAINSAW MAN.

I second that.
Pupu Epeli is without a shadow of a doubt my hero in so many ways,a true man, unselfish, loyal, hard working,so very funny and inspires all who meets him. I feel so blessed and honour to have met such a GREAT HUMAN BEING. All who are so lucky to meet him will I’m sure agree.God bless you PupuEpeli
his laugh and the twinkle in his eye belies a heart with endless youth…
Epeli is a legend. There is some skill involved with using a chainsaw like he does! Like Stinger’s says on the fourm, watching Doug’s Isa Lei and seeing his bond with Epeli on last nights show was one of the best bits. I love Epeli’s laugh!
I watched Epeli with such joy on the second episode of “Paradise or Bust” a person that I have never met,yet though the TV I still felt & shared his emotions, which made me cry and laugh.
Hopefully one day I will be fortunate enough to meet Epelli in person.
I use a chainsaw but never have I used it in FlipFlops, does his still have all his toes : )
