Tribewanted: Vorovoro

Even if you don’t like kids…you will fall in love of the children in the school in the village of wich I forget the name ;. The ” Tribewanted boys” would fix the big watertank. Water was running out of the tank and since water is like gold here this is not what they really like….;)
And the ” Tribewanted girls” would do some cleaning up the garden around the school buildings.

And than the bell rings. Children…line up! Brush your teeth after lunch..one two three….take your brush, one two three…put on some toothpaste…one two three ..brush..brush…one two three..take water and spit it out. What a discipline. Great to watch that show.

Yes, time to go into a classroom. I had grade 3/4 together with Iva, Ondrej and Richard. Playing games, do some reading, blowing up balloons, show where we live and have fun together.
After that nice half hour time to come together all Tribewanted members, children and the teacher(s). And there we got a fantastic surprise! Those children, big and small, girl or boy where singing out loud, smiling, sitting on the floor as we stood in front. Never seen such nice picture. They did the singing and dancing ( Meke) as a ” thank you” for us. You almost feel guilty of such a lovely ” thank you”. And than you promise yourself: I will come back and take more stuff like balloons, books, pencils,balls etc with me. I will ship a complete container for them…..! I will start a foundation where everybody would donate money on, so they will have nice fresh water everyday and good books and…and….

I know that these are just my desperate thoughts…:-)) But one should wish them all the luck and happiness of the world and having the right things like most of the European children have on their school.

Thank God I have it all on video! So I can re-enjoy the singing and dancing.
Another little hour of playing in the sun with the children, like football, rugby, handball etc. Than back to Vorovoro to the Tribewanted world and the grog-mat! Chris, Iva and Ondrej are leaving the island tomorrow and we want to give them their last Kava …and maybe some Mafia experience ( a play we use to play in the evenings…great fun!)It was nice to have you around Chris, Iva and Ondrej. And Chris…...you will be a great chief, I vote for you…so come back and run for chief?
