A Vorovoro favorite - The Chocolate Game

A few nights ago we played the chocolate game in celebration of Bethany’s birthday. The Chocolate Game is also called Chocolate Sixes.

To play, you place a scarf, a hat, some gloves (or socks work well), a plate of chocolate bar, and a fork and knife in the middle of a circle of people. Then everyone takes turns rolling a dice, and if you get a six, you go into the middle and as fast as you can you put on the hat, gloves, and scarf, and try to cut a piece of chocolate and eat it with the fork. Meanwhile, the dice is still going fast around the circle, and when someone else gets a six, then they come in the middle and you have to leave, even if you haven’t had any chocolate. It gets wild and crazy really fast as everyone is rushing to get the clothes on and get some chocolate before they get booted out of the middle of the circle!

When we played I was having terrible luck. Everytime I got a six, someone else would get one right after me. But then, I had a stroke of god louck, and no one got a six for three passes of dice around the circle and I ate about 10 pieces! Then my luck kept getting better, and pretty soon I had a stomachache! I ate the last of the white and milk chocolate until there was no more, and I felt soooo sick.

I really hope we play this again soon!
