Sunday Social 28th June - Mali Fundraiser
Right thanks to the super team we now have a venue for the 28th – So hold your hats – in view of the change of arrival dates of team Fiji and the difficulty to find a public space to have a barbeque we thought we’d go for the tried and tested Hyde Park for the 28th – so the idea is that this will be a nice picnic rather than a barbeque and so long as we are good we shouldn’t get into trouble with the big cheeses at Hyde Park – thanks to Hugh’s expertise I attached:

Beside easy-to-find Speke’s Monument, a little to the south and west of Lancaster Gate tube.
Come and join us bring you frends and remember tickets are £15 (£10 goes back to the families back in Mali and the rest is for food).
If the weather is bad we will be meeting up in a suitable neighbouring pub – I’ll confirm the venue in the next day or two.

Hey guys
I just wanted to mention to you all that whilst we aren’t compelling people to buy tickets – this is a fundraiser so please remember that we are asking people to donate on the day or to buy-tickets. I know times are tough but this is a unique opportunity for us to be able to give something back to those families and those communities who have made our visits to Fiji so special.
This money will provide families like’s Marau’s have safe toilets and go towards giving them safe water – something I’m sure you’d all agree is a worth while cause.
Also on a practical note the tickets will be covering the food. So those not buying are of course welcome to bring food and drink along.
Anyone who has rugs and TW t-shirts please bring them along so there is something comfy to sit on and people can find the group easily! Of course if you want to bring picnic chairs too please feel welcome to do so.
