My journey to paradise
I am so excited to think that in five weeks time I will have retired and be on my way to spend 4 weeks on Vorovoro my first trip to the island but not to Fiji. I am looking forward to meeting all the wonderful people I have heard so much about. I hope to be there in time to see the turtles hatch and make their perilous journey to the sea. Many people wait years to see this happen and I may be lucky enough to see it as part of my Fijian adventure!!!

Oh, I hope you get to see those turtles hatch too! As the date nears, you and I can take turns camping out near the nesting site, so we don’t miss the big event!

Thank you Jay and Jenny with the weather so cold here in the UK right now I am desperate for some sunshine which makes the preparation for Vorovoro even more fun right now. I do hope those baby turtles wait for us to get there, but if not you will just have to tell me all about it Jenny.
