Vorovoro? UK? Vorovoro? UK? Which to choose - hmm tough one? Vorovoro of course everytime
Bula Sia everyone I can’t believe it is a week since we left Vorovoro. It was great to get the chance to see Kini and the new baby I hope all is well with them and wonder if Kini and Semesa have a name for him yet?
The journey home was long and the jet lag is proving hard 13 hours is a huge time difference to adjust to but it is slowly happening. It feels so cold here although everyone keeps telling me its warmed up from what it was! Going barefoot dressed in a sulu and top in the hot sunshine seems a much better idea to me.
Unpacking and sorting the washing out I kept looking at my sulus and my sulu chumba and remembering the great times we had on Vorovoro and the five days I spent at Tui Mali and Anna’s house on the mainland during the cyclone. The grog sessions and the beautiful Fijian music and singing played a huge part in my enjoyment of Vorovoro.
I keep telling friends and family about what a great place Vorovoro is and all the things you can do there. Hopefully I can inspire others to visit.
I hope to get my pictures sorted out so they can go on here so keep checking the site for updates.
I hope everyone on Vorovoro is doing OK and the damage caused by Cyclone Thomasi is gradually being sorted and also that the fundraising for the Grand Bure roof is going well?
